5 Tips for Better Google Flights Results
Google Flights has quickly become a favorite among travel hunters. I actually use google flight daily, just to monitor flights and to keep my third eye open to travel at all times. Sometimes I need ideas so I use the explore option. The Map view is great for planning multi-city trips. Google Flights is an enhanced search engine powered by ITA which gives google flights the power to give you flight estimates within seconds. Here are 5 tips to enhanced your Google Flight search:
Google Flights Month View:
Always look at the month view. If your travel dates are flexible then the month view will show you the lowest dates to fly.
Choose your flight preference:
If you can’t live with a layover then choose nonstop. I would still consider reviewing connecting flights it may be worth the savings
Check Nearby airports
This is a golden rule for me. I have no preference between Long Beach, Burbank, or LAX when in LA. Just like I don’t mind flying into Gatwick vs London Heathrow. ( If it saves me some coins)
Flying out of the different airport, than the one you arrived in allows you to explore more areas.
Don’t fear one-way tickets
Sometimes one-way tickets come out cheaper than round-trip tickets. They’re a great way to plan a future trip or when buying during high peak times.
Google Flights also allows you to search through various airline companies.
